Four Killed as U.S. Small Plane Crashes into House

On Aug. 4, four persons were killed, including two children, as a small plane crashed into a house in the U.S. state of Oregon in the morning, a local news report said.
The plane, a sing-engine Cessna, hit a tree soon after it took off in northwest Oregon, and then slammed into a seaside house in Gearhart, causing an explosion and fire, according to the report by the FOX 12 TV channel.
There were six people from a family in the house to spend their vocation at the time of the crash, it said.
According to local authorities, a woman adult and two children were rescued and sent to hospital. Two other children were found dead, and a third child was still unaccounted for after the tragedy.
The report said that the pilot and passenger aboard the plane also died on the spot.
The incident was still under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
