Centrair's Landing Fees for Cargo Flights to Be Cut by Up to 50%

The operator of Central Japan International Airport, known as Centrair, said on Aug. 28 that it will cut landing fees for international cargo flights by up to 50 percent for two years starting on Oct. 1.
Central Japan International Airport Co said it intends to offset a decline in the number of passenger flights amid soaring fuel costs by winning over more cargo flights.
