Disruptions to Air Fiji flights will be an issue of the past as the company claims that all problems surrounding the grounding of its aircraft have been resolved.
On Sep. 8, Air Fiji chief executive Sialeni Vuetaki said that all operations have fully normalized from Sep. 7.
However, there were no Air Fiji flights to Labasa on Sep. 7.
But Mr Vuetaki said that issues surrounding the grounding of Air Fiji's aircraft have been resolved which has resulted in the normal operation of the airline.
In a statement he also conveyed his apology to all customers who have patronized their services over the 40 years of the company operations.
Mr Vuetaki thanked the customers for their patience and understanding during the trying times of the company.
He said he was aware of the increase to airfares during the grounding of their aircraft and would ensure that the company continued to provide the best competitive services for their customers.
The grounding of the airline's aircraft have forced a five star resort in Savusavu to charter aircraft for their guests traveling on return trips from Viti Levu to Vanua Levu.
Jean Cousteau Michel resort manager and president of the Savusavu Tourism Association Greg Taylor said a lot of money has been spent on the charter flights for the guests.
