Qantas Urged to Cut Fuel Surcharge
ABC News | Sep. 10, 2008
Consumer advocates have urged Qantas to consider reducing its fuel surcharge in the wake of falling jet fuel costs.
Singapore Airlines has already reduced ticket prices for some international flights and a spokesman for consumer group Choice, Christopher Zinn, says Qantas should also review its prices.
"The main thing is explaining to consumers one, why you are passing on increases but more to the point, why you don't pass on decreases?" he said.
