On September 8, Cathay Pacific Airways announced a treat for its junior passengers with the launch of a new range of Disney fun packs. The packs, available on the majority of Cathay Pacific flights for youngsters aged three to eight, feature popular Disney characters, that kids are sure to love.
The fun packs come in two different designs. On flights departing Hong Kong young travellers can wile away the time with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fun pack, while on flights into Hong Kong the Ratatouille fun pack featuring the food-loving rodent and friends is sure to keep them entertained.
Each pack contains a collection of fun items and games including stationery, books, stickers and games - all contained in an attractive satchel that enables youngsters to take their fun packs home. This not only cuts down on waste but helps to ensure that the kids have happy memories of their trip.
Cathay Pacific's Manager Catering Services Charles Grossrieder said: "Our young passengers are just as important as our grown-up ones and we aim to ensure they are kept entertained on their journey with us. The Disney fun packs are always a big hit with youngsters and, combined with our other inflight entertainment offerings, it means that boredom is never a worry!"
Cathay Pacific values the importance of its young passengers and its StudioCX inflight entertainment system always features a great selection of children's programmes and games. The airline's new inflight entertainment system, currently being rolled out on its medium- and long-haul fleet and featuring audio and video on demand in all travel classes, offers a Disney channel featuring movies and Disney TV channels for children of all ages and more than 70 video games.
