Singapore Airlines Cargo Awards US$349 Million Fleet Management Agreement

Singapore Airlines' cargo unit announced on Sep. 15 that it has signed a 10-year S$500 million (US$349 million) fleet management agreement with Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners.
The maintenance and service agreement covers 13 Boeing 747-400F cargo aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney engines and six spare engines, according to a statement by Singapore Airlines Cargo.
SIA Cargo is one of the world's largest operators of B747-400 freighters, and has a route network that covers 76 destinations in 38 countries.
Aircraft engine maker Pratt & Whitney is a unit of U.S.-based United Technologies.
