Air India Express Selectes Ameco Beijing for Its 9 Boeing 737 Aircraft Overhauls

On August 29, Ameco Beijing signed an overhaul agreement with Air India Express to conduct C-checks on 9 of the airline's Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The first aircraft will be delivered to the facility of Ameco Beijing around mid-September 2008.
It is Ameco Beijing's first time to perform airframe overhaul service for an Indian customer's Boeing 737 NG aircraft.
Air India Express is a wholly owned subsidiary of Air India. Ameco Beijing has also been providing the airframe overhaul service for Air India.
Teng Bin, Ameco Beijing's Regional Director of International Sales, stated that the all-around strength of Ameco Beijing in MRO field was the reason for the selection.
