An ANA All Nippon Airways de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration JA842A performing flight NH-1837 from Nagoya to Akita (Japan) with 67 people on board, was climbing through about FL190 when the crew received an oil overtemperature indication for the right hand engine (PW150A) and shut the engine down. The aircraft returned to Nagoya's Chubu Airport for a safe landing.

An Airbus A340 operated by Air France-KLM Group was halted in Boston in mid November after about 30 screws were found to be missing from a protective panel, the airline said.
- Disability Welfare Organizations Blast Cathay Pacific[Nov. 25, 2011]
The League of Welfare Organizations for the Disabled and some other social welfare groups yesterday staged a protest at the Taipei office of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. for the firm's unfair treatment to some disabled passengers early this month, asking the airline to apologize and compensate them for their mental anguish and extra flight expenses. The protesters also asked the Civil Aeronautics Administration under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications to step in to deal with the undesirable practices by Cathay Pacific Airways.
