- BOC Aviation Firms Options for More IAE V2500 Engines[Feb. 15, 2012]
BOC Aviation has firmed up options for more IAE V2500 engines to power four A320 aircraft. The four option conversions confirmed by BOC Aviation are in addition to the December 2010 announcement of BOC Aviation's exclusive agreement, bringing the total to twenty-nine V2500 powered A320 family aircraft.

Embraer announced that the company has signed an agreement for three Lineage 1000 ultra-large executive jets with China's Minsheng Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., one of the largest financial institutions providing executive jet leasing services in China. Signed in late December and announced in a press conference, today, at the 2012 Singapore Airshow, the order is scheduled to begin delivery in 2012.

Rockwell Collins has announced that China Eastern Airlines has selected a range of the company's avionics to equip 50 Airbus A320 aircraft that are on order for delivery later this year. Separately, Hainan Airlines has ordered radars and other equipment for its fleet of 47 new A320s.

BOC Aviation has selected Rockwell Collins avionics as baseline, including its WXR-2100 MultiScan™ Threat Detection System and GLU-925 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), for up to 30 new Airbus A320 aircraft. Deliveries of the aircraft begin this year.
