JAL International has decided to ask cabin attendants in Japan to apply for a special early retirement plan. The voluntary plan will be open to cabin attendants (including those that have transferred to subsidiaries) who at the time of March 31, 2008, have completed at least 15 years service and are 54 years or older if they hold managerial positions and are 50 years old or older if they hold non-managerial positions. The retirement date for these staff will be March 31, 2008 (900 staff are eligible).

- Grupo Marsans to Order A Total of 61 Aircraft Including Four A380s and Ten A350XWBs[Oct. 11, 2007]
On Oct. 11, Grupo Marsans, the largest tourism and transport group in Spain, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Airbus for the purchase of 61 Airbus aircraft including ten A350-900s, four A380s, five A330-200s and 42 A320 Family aircraft (of which 12 A319s, 25 A320s and five A321s). These aircraft will be operated by Grupo Marsans' subsidiary airlines Aerolineas Argentinas and Air Comet amongst others in the group. At this stage no engine selection has been made. This new order combines with the previous order for 12 A330-200s and will bring Grupo Marsans' total commitment with Airbus to 73 aircraft.
