Ural Airlines, one of the leading Russian airlines, has signed a firm contract for the first time with Airbus, for the acquisition of seven A320s. It comes as a confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding that was announced in June 2007 at the Paris air show. With this deal, Ural Airlines becomes a new Airbus customer.

On Sep. 25, Honda Aircraft Company, Inc. announced a series of major advancements to HondaJet design and to the HondaJet sales and service network at the annual National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention. The company showcased a completely new interior design concept for the advanced light jet, along with new exterior color scheme studies, and an animated tour of the exclusive HondaJet sales and service facilities.
- DayJet Launches Service in Florida[Oct. 04, 2007]
On Oct. 3, DayJet Corp. formally launched what it described as the world's first "per-seat, on-demand" jet service within Florida using PW600-powered Eclipse 500 very light jets. DayJet, which said it has more than 1,500 members, initially is offering same-day travel among Boca Raton, Gainesville, Lakeland, Pensacola and Tallahassee with VLJs accommodating two pilots and three passengers. Airline service between those cities typically involves a connection.

Vietnam Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 10 A350-900XWBs, as well as for 20 additional A321s. With this further commitment for Airbus aircraft, Vietnam Airlines becomes a strategic customer for the A350XWB programme. Furthermore, with this commitment for the A350 and for additional A321s, Vietnam Airlines will become one of the largest Airbus operators in Asia.
