Jetstar Asia recently announced that it would be launching a brand new service between Singapore and Macau set to take off from February 2, 2008.
- Qantas to Operate Daily Service to Beijing During Olympics[Dec. 01, 2007]
Australian airline Qantas announced it would fly daily to Beijing between August 4 and August 24, 2008, to carry spectators, officials and athletes to the Beijing Olympic Games.
- Air China Increases Flights to Brazil[Dec. 02, 2007]
Air China has increased the number of flights from Beijing to Sao Paulo via Madrid from twice a week to three times a week.
- BA Hopes to Increase Shanghai-London Flights to Daily[Nov. 30, 2007]
British Airways (BA) hopes to increase its Shanghai-London route from five flights a week to daily flights "soon", said Sara Janine Thorley, the carrier's manager for China, on Nov. 29.

China Eastern Airlines will launch a new route from Nanjing, a major city in east China, to Busan of South Korea, via Yantai on China's eastern coast, on Dec. 9.
- Direct Flights From Vancouver to Guangzhou to Begin in 2009[Nov. 29, 2007]
British Columbia's (B.C.) role as Canada's Pacific Gateway was strengthened during Premier Gordon Campbell's mission to Asia, with an agreement signed between Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and China Southern Airlines that will see the first direct flights between Vancouver and Guangzhou starting July 2009.
- Air China Adds Airbus A330 Premium Service to Vancouver[Nov. 30, 2007]
From late October Air China has added "Capital Pavilion" Business Class service to its Beijing-Vancouver route with new Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft, as well as premium three-cabin service to its Shanghai-Beijing-Paris route with Airbus A340 wide-body equipment. The premium cabin service features Air China's recently upgraded First Class, "Forbidden Pavilion", as well as Air China's lie-flat "Capital Pavilion" Business Class, in addition to traditional Economy Class service.
