Dragonair has been approved as a Type Rating Training Organisation (TRTO) by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (CAD). This means the airline can now offer A320, A330, B747, Multi-Crew Co-operation, Type Rating Instructor, and Type Rating Examiner training programmes under this widely recognised global standard.

On Monday, Oasis Hong Kong Airlines, began taking its first-ever reservations. The new airline which is 100% owned by Hong Kong investors, will begin its first non-stop flights from Hong Kong to London Gatwick on October 25. Fares start from as little as HK$1,000 one way.
